Penn records from University City in West Philadelphia have two distinct notarization routes. The University of Pennsylvania's Office of the University Registrar offers electronic notarization of diplomas from a scan of the physical diploma. Follow the diploma request instructions for that Registrar route; a notarized paper transcript uses the separate transcript request process. Path@Penn is where students and alumni order official transcripts. UPenn's CeDiploma is a certified electronic diploma, but it is not itself notarized by Penn. These distinctions matter when selecting the record for your apostille order, including records from Wharton.

School notarization and state filing are separate steps, so choose the route described in your instruction letter and confirm the Registrar's current requirements before requesting records.
